Last Seven Books

Last year (2009) I read 50 books. This year (2010) I started with Mario Vargas Llosa's Conversation In The Cathedral. I had targeted to finish (not less than) 50 books. In October of this year Vargas Llosa was awarded the long-overdue Nobel Prize. So, I felt it was just right that the 50th and last book that I had to read this year was also by him. It's called The Time Of The Hero. Both books proved to be great although, in my opinion, Conversation In The Cathedral is better. The last seven books to complete my target (50 books in 2010) are as follows:

October 31, 2010: Waiting For The Barbarians (J.M. Coetzee), 4.0/5.0; November 3, 2010: Distant Star (Roberto Bolano), 4.0/5.0 ;November 11, 2010: The Noodle Maker (Ma Jian), 3.0/5.0 ; November 17, 2010: The Book Of Chameleons (Jose Eduardo Agualusa), 4.0/5.0 ; November 23, 2010: Amulet (Roberto Bolano), 3.0/5.0 ; December 4, 2010: The Final Solution (Michael Chabon), 3.0/5.0 ; December 20, 2010: The Time Of The Hero (Mario Vargas Llosa), 5.0/5.0.
