Sunshine Cruz is Nora. She does oil painting. She's in her mid 40s. Enzo Pineda is Migs. He does photography. He's 30 years old. Chance encounter leads to a torrid romance. We see them make love. We see them lose their artist's temper. We see them clash. 

Sunshine Cruz acts like as if she's a real artist only when she speaks. But, I don't see it in her bodily movements. Enzo Pineda's character is not likable. Maybe it's written that way. I'm confused because I don't see consistency. Their intimate scenes look rehearsed. Despite these observations, however, Malamaya is not bad.
