A love story that turns ugly, starring the most bankable love team in Philippine cinema today, is what The Hows of Us is about. There's nothing interesting about the narrative. Of course, we expect reconciliation in the end after all the sourness in between. While the lead actor shows maturity and improvement in acting, the lead actress is a different story. There's much effort for her to appear believable in such mature role. I'm not convinced. I still see the same character she played in her other movies. She's not George but the same Kathryn Bernardo in her other roles.
