Based on real a event, the movie is about an extremist so obsessed about his twisted beliefs that he ritualizes a killing spree.
The directorial style that Greengrass used in his past movies is quite obvious here - a style that always results in a movie that can give a visceral cinematic experience to the audience. For example, the handheld camera captures the murderous chaos to depict the premeditated violence of the assassin and fear of fleeing targets. This is highlight that's well edited that can push one on the edge of his or her seat. Despite this, however, there is restraint in the narrative flow toward the conclusion.
