Movie No. 7 (2019): VICE

A movie in two parts: first, the biopic; then, the behind-the-scenes.  This is my first time to see a movie that's structured this way. 

Funny. Absurd. Cringing. Entertaining. Sometimes, I would laugh at scenes that I didn't fully understand.

Christian Bale is perfect for the role. Or, maybe he's just too good at giving life to characters he play. Amy Adams, as expected to be dependable as ever, also gives wonderful performance. These two performances are actually the best thing about the movie.
