Steven Spielberg. Meryl Streep. Tom Hanks. A collaboration with great expectations. Good thing is it didn't disappoint.

Meryl Streep is in top form again as Katherine Graham, a female publisher of a major American newspaper (The Post). Her editor, Ben Bradlee, is played by Tom Hanks. Together, Graham and Bradlee risk their career and freedom as they embark in a race to get ahead of The New York Times to expose a three-decade cover-up related to the Vietnam War by the US government. 

Spielberg makes the movie exciting by infusing the thrill into the narrative. Meryl Streep is nowhere to be seen. It's her character that catches our attention. To say she delivers topnotch acting is an understatement. She acts to the details. Tom Hanks complements that superb performance.
