We can see and feel the wife's mourning and how her life changes without the husband. We don't see the 'person' in the white sheet, but we know Casey Affleck or the character he plays is supposed to be there. We can feel the pain of the person inside the white sheet.
This is a ghost story that doesn't scare. But, we do feel goosebumps due to the dramatic intensity of several scenes. The slow pace, I guess, is deliberate to emphasize emotions and the timeline of indecision - to stay or move on.

This is a different but effective take on 'ghost' stories. Thumbs up.
