I like the movie the way it portrays the struggle of two people in love to begin and preserve a relationship. I'm quite pleased that it does not let itself be trapped in the silly and tiresome formula that most romance and rom-com movies use as a template, with only the box-office in mind.

The two main characters have opposite personalities. It's not the opposites that attract, but the opposites that usually clash. But they're so much in love that they defied the odds. These actors are just so good we believe them. We get so intimate with the characters that our common sense will make us extrapolate a sad ending for the relationship, or maybe a good one. That's the point: a joyride of guessing.
