Cargo is a different spin on the zombie genre. It is set in post-pandemic Australian outback and it's quite obvious that the movie is about survival amidst what remains. It is quite interesting that the titular cargo is an infant, which is symbolic of the future after all these bleakness. While there are flesh-hungry zombies wandering in the backdrop, we can strongly say that the movie is not about them.
