I will make this short. This is of the haunted house kind of horror sub-genre. It doesn't have the gore and planted scare moments, which is not necessarily bad. The film capitalizes on the atmosphere, which is also not bad. But, it's stylish and finesses contribute to the "horror" that the audience is supposed to experience seeing the film. But, I'm not sure about that.
